We need to adapt our toolset
Metrics are highly valuable for understanding and managing man-made systems –
where the parts shape the whole.
The planet, and everything that lives within it, is an organic system –
where the whole shapes the parts.
If we want to find a way to co-exist, we need to look beyond metrics.
beyond metrics is not ‘no metrics’
beyond metrics is a systematic and applied exploration of how we can adapt our knowledge toolset to better understand and manage risk and possibility.
